We are thrilled to invite you to an enriching hands-on learning event featuring GitHub Copilot, presented by Princeton alum Andrew Wilterson. Copilot is an AI-pair programmer and can help you code by offering auto-complete style suggestions (read more about copilot here).
As a student, you have the privilege of accessing GitHub Copilot at no cost. To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend initiating your student status request as early as possible, as it may take up to a week for approval. You can begin the process by requesting access to the Github student developer pack and by downloading Visual Studio Code. We will send more instructions closer to the event date.
Alternatively, you're welcome to sign up for a free 30-day trial of GitHub Copilot to explore its features immediately.
Need assistance with installation or troubleshooting? Rachel and Sana, will be available from 3:40 PM to 4:00 PM on the day of the event to provide hands-on support.
If you plan to attend the event online or in-person, it would be helpful for us if you could let us know that you plan to attend with this google form. Please feel free to also submit questions for our panelists and mark dietary restrictions in the form.
We look forward to seeing you there!
