Dec. 14, 2016

Assistant Professor Diana Tamir is one of two Princeton professors to receive project funding from the Princeton E-ffiliates partnership. Professor Tamir's project aims to reduce individuals' energy consumption, even if only by single-digit percentages, thereby contributing to a potential national savings of more than $140M per month.

This project proposes using simple, actionable strategies from psychology research to reduce individuals’ energy usage.

Princeton E-ffiliates Partnership is administered by the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, in partnership with the Princeton Environmental Institute, the School of Architecture, and the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
